A few months ago, on Chinese New Year, the beautifully coloured dragons, the popping of fire crackers with golden sparks flying, & the bright colours of Red, Gold, & Green everywhere, really inspired me!

& with these thoughts freshly in my head, I created this mosaic!

The Gold shimmers, the Green glass magically changes to rainbow in the sun, & the Red glass draws you in.

This mosaic has been made, using just my hands, from scratch.

The colours will never fade.

I’ve hand cut each ceramic tile.

I’ve made this pot to last many many years, & to live through many New Years.

The large pot ( 23 cm in height, 26 cm in width ) is made of terracotta, & I’ve sealed it to avoid water damage.
