Bees become very thirsty in the hot weather, in birdbaths, ponds, or pools, they occasionally slip into the water, their wings become heavy, & they drown.
Some people place stones in a shallow water dish which help the bees, I carefully raise the centre, so if you just pour enough water in to reach the top of the ‘ pollen dots ‘, it not only keeps your bees happy & safe, you’ve also got a beautiful piece of art in your garden to admire!
Every single piece of ceramic tile I have cut by hand.

I’ve sealed the terracotta dish to prevent water damage.
