Kangaroo Leather Bi-Fold Wallet

This BLACK 8-card bifold wallet is made from high quality vegetable tanned Kangaroo, out side and in. Kangaroo leather is valued for its strength, particularly seeing as it is a fairly thin at approximately 1mm thick. This makes for a sleek looking and slim profiled wallet.

Each of the cards slots are have folded leather edges, which improves the durability of edges against the wear and tear of inserting and removing cards regularly.

I use a range of artisan techniques to make these leather goods which in this case includes hand stitching using a technique called "saddle stitch" which is stronger than a machine stitch and also offers a more attractive line of stitching on both sides of the leather. The edges have been sanded to +1200 grit, burnished and sealed with wax. I only use high quality waxed threads.

Apart from that, it is as simple as it looks; a simple and timeless look that will stand up to the test of time.
