Paint with me? I'm trying something new. I have new colours, new materials, new ideas. I feel nervous and excited all at once. I start and I'm not loving the way it's going. I walk away and come back again later, with fresh eyes, and a new idea. I add brighter colours that I hadn't anticipated I'd use. I add lines that make me think of streamers and celebration. I enjoy the texture that the shellac brings. Most of all I enjoy the overflow of this process into everyday life - even when I don't like the moment, I can take a moment, breathe, try again, trust that new ideas will flow, trust the process....
