Description
Calliope - Art Doll - Hand knitted and Hand sewn.
Underneath the toes of the Ancient Fig Trees, down in the Woodlands, is where Calliope lives. She loves nature and will try to spend most of her time walking through the Woodlands picking flowers to decorate her home. Sometimes she also fills her basket with berries and mushrooms, which she takes home to cook for her dinner.
I have shown Calliope with her basket filled with her favourite flowers. She has also pinned 2 of her "mostest" favourite flowers onto her shawl.
Calliope has hands with separate thumb and fingers.
Her eyes have beautiful long lashes.
She has a pair of handmade earrings inserted into her ears (little Gum-nut-babies, hiding behind a gum leaf).
The fringing on her knitted shawl is hand-knotted on.
The flowers on her shawl have sweet little flower buttons sewn into the centre.
Her Mary-Jane-style shoes (which are removable) have a button closure.
Please Note - This Doll IS NOT A TOY and is not intended for children. Please do not give to young children, as the eyes and buttons may cause a choking hazard. Also, she would simply hate rough play!
Calliope would much prefer the quiet life with you, sitting in your Good Room, upon a shelf, or cosied up on your sofa, as you read a book or two.

Sitting Height: 13 inches (34 cm)
