Hand Painted with fine brush on Wooden Discs. Light Green Gold with white Triskelion. Discs are clear coated for protection and sheen.
Measures approx 3.5cm across, with the drop being 5.5cm from top of hook to base of disk.
Very Light Weight.
The Triple Spiral is meticulously hand painted using a fine paint brush. As such, this means each spiral is unique and will not exactly match the other, although I do try. But this is the beauty of being hand crafted. Perfectly Imperfect.
The ancient symbol of the Triskelion which is also known as the Triple Spiral is associated with the Celtic & Pagan traditions, but may go back even further. This symbol is sacred to the feminine principle of Maiden, Mother, Crone. Also symbolic of the life cycles ~ life death and rebirth.
