Made completely from scratch from a sheet of brass and sterling silver wire, by folding, hammering, texturing and shaping the metal. The leaves have been gently polished to reveal highlights against darker patina for a more natural look, and then sealed with a specially formulated lacquer for metals to protect the finish. They come ready to wear on handmade sterling silver wires.

Care
The leaves have been coated with ProtectaClear lacquer - it is a durable sealant but not indestructible. Best to protect the earrings from a prolonged contact with chemicals, particularly solvents, cleaning products and cosmetic products (some formulations of sunblock have been reported to affect the integrity of the sealant where they have been in prolonged contact). Best to store after cleaning and drying, away from dust and humidity, protecting from scratches.
