Turned on the lathe from rare gidgee, this more modern-style dip pen (also known as a nib holder) includes a monogrammed solid brass core to give it perfect balance.
Gidgee, a rare member of the acacia family, is renowned for its density and strength, allowing for the extreme slimline design of this very special pen. The elegant, elliptical profile and super-slim size appeal to a more modern design aesthetic while maintaining a traditional beauty. As a wood that grows only in harsh outback regions, Gidgee develops an incredible strength, but also a beautiful chatoyance that can be seen in the included video.

The pen comes with an original vintage Hinks, Wells & Co. "Astor" stainless steel nib. It has a 6mm bore and 5mm core that allows it to accept most standard-sized nibs.
