Turned on the lathe from timeless Redgum, this classically-styled dip pen (also known as a nib holder) includes a monogrammed solid brass core to give it perfect balance.
This double-waisted style of pen is often used by artists as it allows for two grip positions. Held close to the nib it provides outstanding control when drawing fine details, whilst when held further back, at the second waist, it allows for a looser, freer style.
A joy to use or just to admire, this pen is suitable for drawing, writing, calligraphy or as a perfect gift for the serious collector.
The pen comes with an original vintage Hinks, Wells & Co. "Astor" stainless steel nib. It has a 6mm bore and 5mm core that allows it to accept most standard-sized nibs.
