A small, hand-shaped piece with a bit of Fremantle in it.

Handbuilt in white Australian stoneware and finished in cobalt blue, with a hand-drawn sardine and soft sponged edges that echo sea spray and salt air.

Use it by the stove for salt, on the table for flaky sea salt, or to hold matches. Practical, but also a bit of a conversation starter.

Stamped underneath with “a salt or strike” - because it can be either.

Fits 4-inch matches.

Comes with 10 rainbow-head matches and match strike stickers so you can turn it into a working match box.
