Butter Keeper Low Tide
Inspired by the meeting of coastlines, Low Tide carries soft ocean blues inside and sun warmed sand tones outside.
Wheel thrown and finished by hand, this butter keeper has gentle movement through the form and subtle glaze variation that shifts with the light. The aqua interior pools softly, while the exterior holds a warm, sandy blush with natural variation from the kiln.
She is slightly wonky in the best way. Like shorelines, no two curves are identical.
Designed for everyday use, this piece keeps butter fresh with a water seal and ready at room temperature when used as intended. Functional, beautiful and made to live on your bench all year round.

How to Use Your Folly & Form Butter Keeper
- Soften your butter slightly so it is easy to press in.
- Pack butter firmly into the lid section, removing any air pockets.
- Pour a small amount of cold water into the base, just enough to cover the rim when inverted.
- Place the butter filled lid into the base so the water creates a seal.
Keep your butter keeper on the bench, out of direct sunlight.
Change the water every 2 to 3 days to keep it fresh.
Your butter will stay soft, spreadable and ready to use.
