This crystal suncatcher features a beautiful butterfly on a natural wood slice. The faceted crystals will scatter rainbows and sparkles across walls and surfaces when it captures the sun.
A miniature hanging art piece that makes a beautiful gift or something special just for you!
Decoupaged wood is 6.5cm across | Total hanging length is 30cm
Each piece is individually handmade by me in my Sydney studio using carefully curated printed designs applied to a natural wood slice, then sealed beneath a crystal-clear high-gloss resin finish. Hand-painted highlight details, some with metallic gold edging, add the finishing touches.
Not suitable for outdoor use; hang in a spot that will catch direct sun for rainbows, or anywhere that needs a miniature piece of decoupage art.
Lovely as a small anniversary gift:
Suitable for: 1st Anniversary: Paper | 5th Anniversary: Wood | 15th Anniversary: Crystal
This suncatcher is currently in my studio, ready to be shipped. This is a finished piece; you will receive this exact piece as pictured. It will be presented in a branded box, nestled in recycled paper, making it suitable for gift-giving.
Love more than one piece? Purchase multiple pieces from my shop and save— $10 off two, $18 off three, $25 off four, discount automatically applied at checkout.
Any small irregularities in the shape or surface are part of what makes each piece special—they are not flaws, but traces of the handmade process.
Care
Please note that while the front is sealed with a hard-wearing gloss resin, they should not be submerged in water. To clean, simply wipe it gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scrubbing.
