This colourful multi-strand Japanese lacquered paper & bead necklace makes a real statement. It is fabulous on & perfect for any season. It is lightweight & comfortable to wear. All paper beads are individually made & lacquered from Japanese washi paper. The black rubber cord has also been embellished with lacquered Japanese washi paper & silver plated beads. The necklace has a silver plated toggle clasp.
Handmade process: The beads are crafted from individually cut balsa wood pieces which have been covered with beautiful Japanese washi paper & lacquered. The rubber cords have small sections of lacquered Japanese washi paper edged with silver plated beads.

Packaging: The necklace will be presented in a black velvet lined box.
Care: The necklace is not intended to be immersed in water although a little rain is not an issue - the adhesive & lacquer is water proof.
