Cobalt blue is having a moment.

These polymer clay earrings throw cobalt blue into the spotlight, then deliberately make things more interesting with flashes of light blue, canary yellow, copper and rose gold to make the organised chaos feel and look good.
The result is a long, graphic rectangular drop with enough colour to make a plain outfit feel like it had a plan all along.

Polymer clay goes in.
A whole lot of colour happens.
Then out comes something considerably more interesting than a plain blue rectangle.
Each pair is initially a blob, which is conditioned, rolled, pulled apart, sliced, cut and even ripped to then be (*gasps*) shaped, patterned, finished and assembled by hand in Brisbane, Australia (Phew! That was a mouth full. I hope you're still with me!). The terrazzo-style detailing is created across the cobalt blue base, so the placement of the smaller colour details can naturally vary between pairs.
Which means your pair gets to be yours.

The cobalt blue base is deliberately bold, but the real mischief is in the details.
Light blue, canary yellow, copper/rose gold are scattered across the elongated rectangular drop, creating an abstract terrazzo-style pattern that keeps revealing something new the longer you look at it.
The blue circular stud echoes the cobalt base before the longer drop takes over.
At 5cm of drop length, the proportions are elongated without becoming a giant slab of clay hanging from your ear.
Because drama is good.
Neck weights are not.

You know that moment when you put on an otherwise perfectly respectable outfit and it feels a bit...

Cobalt blue plays particularly well with neutrals, so black, white, grey and denim give the colour palette plenty of room to do its thing.
For more colour, pick up the canary yellow or light blue somewhere else in your outfit. The rose gold and copper detailing also gives you another route if you want to echo the warmer tones.
Keep everything else relatively simple and let the earrings be the loudest thing in the room.

Avoid bending, dropping or putting heavy pressure on the clay.
Store your earrings somewhere dry, flat and protected when you are not wearing them. Avoid storing them loose with keys or other objects that could scratch or damage them.
If needed, gently wipe them with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
