Beautiful fabrics representing autumn leaves and berries have been sewn to form a handbag-sized tote for everyday use. The unusual design has a square base, with coordinating squares forming peaks from which the straps are attached. The straps and lining are made from more of the coordinating squares. The bag is quilted over cotton wadding, including in the straps. All the materials of the bag are cotton, so they can be washed simply and will not add to the plastic plague of our time.
The price you pay, minus packing and shipping, will be donated to WIRES, the Australian Wildlife Rescue Association.
The bag measures 17cm square on the base, but is effectively 32 cm wide and 25 cm tall. The straps are 27 cm long by 4 cm wide. It is recommended that the bag is washing in cold water, and dried in the shade. It can be ironed on a cotton setting.
