Made on a genuine 1980’s pattern, these elasticised waist pull on pants have been made from 8 Upcycled vintage Australian souvenir tea towels.
The tea towels are a mixture of linen, linen/cotton and 100% cotton and are all brown, cream and black, with a tiny bit of red on one lower leg. The images are iconic Australia, there’s even a huge Captain Cook.
They are generous and baggy with nipped in ankles and gathered waist - very 1980’s. There are 6 pockets; 2 side, 2 rear and 2 deep pockets at the knees.
The waist is 35 inches around the waist (this is the elasticised measurement so can go further) and the leg length is 42 inches.
The waist is high and the waistband has 5 belt loops. The crotch is generous as well. All seams are flat fell with twin top stitching and the pockets have reinforced stitching.
These are fun pants and super easy to wear as well as attention grabbing
