From brilliant white salt pans stretching beneath the Western Australian sun to the rich red earth of the Pilbara, West Coast Salt captures a little piece of this extraordinary Australian landscape in every bar.
What makes this soap particularly special is its story. The salt used in each batch is personally gathered from the striking salt pans of Port Hedland, Western Australia, before making its way across the country to Terrigal, where it is transformed into our handcrafted salt bars.
Made using the traditional cold-process method, West Coast Salt combines coconut oil, olive oil, shea butter and kokum butter with Pilbara salt, Australian pink clay and rose petal powder. Please note that salt bars are gently exfoliating but creamy and soapy at the same time. Recommendation is to use this one only once or twice a week, then compliment with a highly nourishing bar like our Cashmere Silk.
Its fragrance continues the journey, blending fresh sage and eucalyptus with warm woody notes and a clean sea-salt finish. Fresh, earthy and slightly coastal, it beautifully reflects the rugged landscape where the brilliant white salt pans meet the red earth of the Pilbara.
Salt soap bars naturally produce a lower, creamier lather rather than lots of big bubbles. The high salt content reduces bubbly foam, but creates a dense, silky lather and a beautifully hard, long-lasting bar. Australian pink clay and rose petal powder complement its earthy Australian character, making every bar a celebration of the colours, textures and natural beauty of the west coast.
Each bar is individually poured, cut and finished by hand before being slowly cured in small batches in Terrigal on the NSW Central Coast.

Coconut oil, olive oil, shea butter, kokum butter, castor oil, sunflower oil, sea salt personally gathered from Port Hedland, Western Australia, water, lye, Australian pink clay, rose petal powder, sugar and fragrance.
How to use
Wet the bar and work into a creamy lather between your hands or onto a washcloth. Gently cleanse the body and rinse well. This soap provides a gentle exfoliation to the skin.
Soap care
Salt bars are naturally firm and long-lasting, but they still love to dry between uses. Keep your bar on a well-draining soap dish and away from standing water to help it last as long as possible.
