Handmade Cockatoo Dangle Earrings – Australian Wearable Art

Bring a little piece of the Australian bush to your wardrobe with these cute and colourful handmade Cockatoo dangle earrings, lovingly designed and hand-sculpted by me Ro (CraftyRo) in sunny Echuca, Victoria.

My Handmade Process:

Each pair begins as a piece of Polymer Clay, which I condition, shape, and carefully hand-sculpt using handheld tools to create the distinctive Cockatoo design. Every detail is individually worked by hand before the clay is baked to harden and strengthen the finished piece.

Once baked and cooled, each earring is carefully assembled by hand with quality jewellery findings and finished ready to wear.

Because these earrings are handmade individually rather than mass-produced, no two pairs will ever be exactly the same. Small variations in colour, texture and details are apart of what makes handmade jewellery special.

Each Cockatoo dangles and Stud measurements are approximately below:

Large Dangles: Approx 7.5cm long (incl. Stainless steel hardware hooks) x 1.5cm wide.

Cookatoos (perched on a stick) dangles: Approx 6cm long (incl. Stainless steel hardware hooks) x 1.5cm wide.

Cockatoo head dangles: Approx 4.5cm (incl. Stainless steel hardware hooks) x 1.3cm wide.

Stud Coockatoo heads: Approx 2cm long x 1.3cm wide

Care Instructions:

Polymer Clay jewellery is lightweight but should still be treated with care.

Keep your earrings away from water, perfumes, hairspray, lotions and harsh chemicals. Store them in a cool, dry place, preferably flat or in their jewellery box when not being worn.

Avoid bending, dropping or placing heavy objects on your earrings.

Delivery and Sustainability:

Your handmade Cockatoo earrings will be carefully packaged eco-consciously by CraftyRo. I use repurpose materias such as, pink or white tissue paper, shredded cardboard and sometimes honeycomb cardboard to ensure safe travels. From time to time a will also reuse undamaged postage boxes while safely packaging your CraftyRo handmade earrings.

CraftyRo ships Australia-wide from Echuca, Victoria.

Postage is $10 and includes parcel tracking, so that you can keep an eye on your handmade order as it makes its way to you.
