Lovingly handmade from Polymer Clay in sunny Echuca, Regional Victoria, these sweet little bees are perfect for anyone who loves nature, bees, gardens, plus fun unique handmade jewellery.
Each Bumble Bee is individually created using Polymer Clay and carefully shaped by hand to bring its little 3D design to life.
Their cute three-dimensional design adds extra character, making them a lovely little statement for everyday wear without the need for large, heavy earrings. Their sweet little smile says it all! :)
My Handmade Process:
Each Bumble Bee is individually handmade from Polymer Clay, carefully shaped and detailed by hand using handheld tools to bring its cute 3D design to life.
Once the details are complete, the clay is baked in my clay oven to harden and strengthen the finished top pieces. After cooling, I carefully assemble each stud by attaching a steel earring post. I then apply a layer of matching yellow Polymer Clay over the hardware to cover and embed the post securely to the back of the bee.
The earrings are then baked a second time in my clay oven to cure the additional clay and secure the embedded hardware.
Once the second bake is complete, my Bumble Bees are left to cool before I carefully inspect each earring to check the finished piece before packaging it for its new home.
Every pair is handmade by me in my Echuca studio, with care and attention given to each little detail. As each bee is individually crafted rather than mass-produced, slight variations may occur, making every pair uniquely handmade.
