Eastern Rosella - Edition of 20
Linoprint and hand-painted individually with watercolours.
The eastern rosella is a rosella native to southeastern Australia, including Tasmania. It has been introduced to New Zealand where feral populations are found in the North Island and in the hills around Dunedin in the South Island.
I have created the print by hand-carving a piece of lino, rolling ink onto the linocut and hand-printing the print onto the watercolour paper. I have then painted the linoprint with lightfast watercolours.
Ink: Caligo Safe Wash - Oil-based and lightfast pigment
Watercolour: Dr PH Martins - Hydrus watercolours
Paper: 300gsm Watercolour Paper - Acid free
Paper size: Height 29.7 mm x Width 21mm
Image size: Height 210mm x Width 150mm
Your hand-signed, hand-painted edition print will be one of only "20" printed, each one slightly different which makes it unique.
The print is sold unmounted and unframed. The image can be framed as is within a window mount. Picture framers will cut window mounts to size if you wish to use an existing frame.
