ABOUT HANDMADE BY HEMMINGS

Hi my name is Sarah and I'm a Visual Art/Theatre Studies teacher, printmaker, minister’s wife and mother of four boys, living in Bendigo, Central Victoria.

I have always loved creating art, in a variety of materials and techniques. I am inspired by God’s creation and the regional area in which I live. The Australian Bush and the landscape, flora and fauna of our country lends itself perfectly to the bold patterns of artworks.

I utilise spare moments of time in amongst the busyness of life with a young family and my work as a teacher, to create artworks that highlight the amazing world around us. I love sharing my artwork across Instagram and Facebook and seeing what artists from around the world are creating in their studios.
