The Cockatiel Edition of 25 Linoprint and Watercolour
The Cockatiel, also known as weiro bird, or quarrion, is a small parrot that is a member of its own branch of the cockatoo family endemic to Australia. They are prized as household pets and companion parrots throughout the world and are relatively easy to breed.
I have created the print by hand-carving a piece of lino, rolling ink onto the linocut and hand-printing the print onto the watercolour paper.
Ink: Caligo Safe Wash - Oil-based and lightfast pigment
Watercolour - Lightfast Dr PH Martins Hydrus Watercolours
Paper: 300gsm Watercolour Paper - Acid free
Paper size: Height 250mm x Width 210mm
Image size: 210mm x 120mm
Your hand-signed, hand-painted edition print will be one of only "25" printed, each one slightly different which makes it unique.The print is sold mounted and unframed. The image can be framed as is within a window mount. Picture framers will cut window mounts to size if you wish to use an existing frame.
