Before you order!
Hand-made takes time! Please email marionmadeart@gmail.com to find out the wait time before you order. If there is no wait list, I need about 3 weeks to get your portrait to your door. Once you have placed your order, I will confirm the current wait time.
What if you don't like the finished painting? I’ll send you a digital proof of the painting for your approval prior to shipping. You can opt out at this stage for a full refund if you are not happy with your painting.
Sending photos of your pet
I use your photos as reference, so once you have finalised your order please email marionmadeart@gmail.com with the following information;
· your order number
· photographs of your pet
· your phone number if you are open to a quick chat about your pet. If not, include any extra information in your message.
For the best results I look for images with these qualities:
· pictures taken at the animal’s eye level (not from above or below)
· clear and in-focus, especially the head, eyes and nose
· whole animal from head to tail
· sitting or lying down
I like to have time to sit with your pictures and think about the best way to approach each portrait. If I think the reference you have sent is not suitable, I will contact you to discuss options.
Ready to hang
A3 (297x420mm) pet portraits are painted in acrylic on reused cardboard and mounted on thin edge wood panel, ready to hang.
