Welcome to violets in may. The name violets in may conjures up many memories of my mother, Violet May. She was always a strong support to me growing up and well into my adult years. She would have been proud to have had this venture named after her and to see me follow my dream of setting up this business. I am based in Melbourne, Australia.

violets in may has a range of fused glass jewellery and glass homewares, carefully created for colour and form. Pendants, charm bracelets and other precious metal clay jewellery round out my offerings.

Like many before me, I started in jewellery by stringing beads. This introduction sparked an interest colour and design and the possibilities of using different materials and forms. Several short courses later, in precious metal clay (PMC), metal working and glass, have further spurred my interest and curiosity. I enjoy all facets of jewellery making and glass fusing, especially the flexibility of PMC and the colours and unpredictability of glass.
