Hi, I'm Naomi, an independent resin artist crafting out of my home studio in Far North Queensland. The name of my business, Tjimin Designs (pronounced Chim-in), holds a deeply personal connection to my heritage, originating from my grandfather's language, with a dual meaning of both 'grandfather' and 'dragonfly'.
Much of my work is heavily inspired by the diverse beauty of the Australian landscape and coastlines, so I try to incorporate this into my resin work whenever I can.
I love to create functional art homewares, jewellery, and wall art using high quality resin purchased from Australian suppliers. I use different types of resin depending on the size and function of the piece. For select pieces, I draw upon my Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent to hand-paint contemporary indigenous dot designs onto the resin piece. My creative process is intuitive when painting these designs, so this means no two creations are ever identical. Everything in my collection is proudly hand-mixed, poured, detailed, and finished by me from scratch.

All orders are shipped from Far North Queensland via Australia Post. Because I am located outside the major metro areas, standard delivery typically takes 5 to 7 business days. I pack every order with care and will send you a tracking number as soon as your package is on its way.
I offer refunds for faulty items in line with Australian Consumer Law. Please contact me within 14 days of receiving your order.
