I’m Liz, the maker behind The Wire Worker — creating simple, fun and completely handmade pieces from my little corner of Tasmania.
What started as a creative outlet during lockdown has grown into a small business I absolutely love. I work with malleable aluminium wire to create personalised names, dates, animals, wedding and Christmas pieces, bookmarks, roses, maps and plenty of custom ideas along the way.
I love making things that feel personal — whether it’s a gift for someone special, a little something to celebrate a milestone, or a piece made just because it makes you smile.
Everything is designed and handmade by me, with each piece carefully bent, shaped and finished by hand. Because of this, every item is unique and may have those tiny handmade imperfections that make it yours.

Every piece is handmade to order, so no two pieces will ever be exactly the same. Small variations in shape, size and finish are part of the handmade nature of The Wire Worker and make each piece unique.
For personalised and custom orders, please double-check names, dates and other details before placing your order, as these pieces are made specifically for you.
As each piece is handmade and many of my designs are personalised or made specifically to order, I’m unable to offer returns, exchanges or refunds for change of mind or incorrect personalisation supplied at the time of ordering.
If your order arrives damaged or there is an issue with the item I have made, please get in touch as soon as possible with photos and I’ll be happy to work with you to resolve the issue.
