I am a high functioning Aspie, with a strong connection to nature, and all it’s magical energies. I use this energy, to create unique handmade OOAK art dolls. Living in the Tasmanian bush, in a 60 ft bus, off grid, with my 2 bunnies ( Snuggles and Precious) Living like this, enables me to continually collect and create, with natures gifts, and inspiration. When I create one of my dolls, I have no preconceived idea, so it comes through me, with a life of its own. I absolutely love what I do, and this is reflected in my creations. I use all recycled materials and found nature objects. I also paint bunny prints, with a Celtic influence, being a Welsh immigrant, at 10 years old.
I have always been an artist, but this journey started, while working at a tip shop for 5 years, and becoming aware of how much we discard into landfill. Making the decision to create from recycling things, eventually led me to where I am now. As well as retiring from 30 years of landscape gardening.
