I’m the maker behind Spiraldyed, creating colour-rich hand-dyed fabrics and threads for people who love to make.
My work begins with colour. I love the unexpected combinations, subtle shifts and beautiful surprises that happen when colour meets cloth and thread. I hand-dye silk and cotton threads and fabrics in small batches, creating unique pieces with depth, variation and character.
I’m drawn to the way colour can inspire an entire project. Whether you are stitching, weaving or embroidering, I hope my fabrics and threads give you something exciting to work with.
Everything is created in my Melbourne studio, where I spend my days experimenting with colour and developing new combinations. Because each piece is handmade, no two are exactly alike — and that is part of their beauty.
