Welcome to Rubelle, where beautiful bags are made slowly, thoughtfully and by hand.

I’m Lynelle, the maker behind Rubelle. I create handcrafted bags from my home on the Far South Coast of New South Wales, working with beautiful fibres, textures and carefully chosen finishing details.

Rubelle grew from my love of making, but also from a lifelong appreciation for beautiful bags. I’m drawn to pieces that feel a little different: interesting shapes, rich texture, gorgeous colour and those small details that make something feel truly special.

Each Rubelle bag is individually made by me, using carefully selected materials such as raffia, cotton cord, natural fibres and quality leather and hardware. Some pieces are my own evolving designs, while others are created from designs by independent makers whose work I admire, always with appropriate credit and permission for finished pieces.

Because every bag is handmade, no two are ever quite identical. The small variations are part of their character and a reminder that your bag has passed through a maker’s hands, rather than a production line.

My aim for Rubelle is simple: to create beautifully handcrafted bags that feel polished enough to treasure, but relaxed enough to actually use.
