Manda Made is a maker's studio in Canberra, Australia.
I've been making things for most of my life from quilts and crochet to papercraft, cards and now leatherwork.
I don't believe I need to choose just one medium. I make what I love, when inspiration strikes, and hope that someone else loves what I make too.
Here you'll find thoughtfully made leather goods, one-of-a-kind pieces, small creations made from leather remnants, and the occasional paper creation or seasonal surprise.
Where I use licensed patterns, I proudly credit the independent pattern makers behind them.
Making makes me happy. Gifting is how I show I care.

A little note before you order
Made by Hand: Each piece is individually made by me, so no two will ever be exactly alike. Natural leather has ikts own grain, texture and character, and these natural variations are part of what makes your peice uniquely yours. I aim to create pieces gthat are beautiful, thoughtfully made and made to last.
One of a kind: Many pieces are made as individual creations, so once they're gone, they're gone. I may make another piece in the same style, but it will never be exactly the same.
Colours & materials: Leather is a natural material and may vary slightly in colour, texture and grain. Where colour combinations are described as a surprise or lucky dip, the overall design will be as shown but the exact combination will be chosen from my available remnants. That's part of the fun, and part of my commitment to using as much of each piece of leather as possible.
Made to order & commissions: Some pieces can be made to order or commissioned. Please contact me before purchasing so we can discuss what's possible. I allow 2–3 weeks for commissions, because I'd rather give myself enough time to make something properly than rush it.
Patterns: Where applicable, I use licensed patterns from independent pattern designers. These designers are credited in the individual product listing. Their work is an important part of my learning and making journey, and I believe they deserve recognition for it.
Packaging: Your order will be wrapped with care using tissue and twine, with a handmade touch included wherever possible. Larger pieces may also include a small handmade thank-you gift created from leather remnants.
Questions? If you're unsure about sizing, materials, colours or whether something will suit you, please ask before ordering. I'd much rather help you choose the right piece than have you buy something that isn't quite right.
