Hello! I’m Estée, PhD student by day and creator of ‘Hanging’ things by night. I first started experimenting with polymer clay in 2019 and now, Just Hanging is my little corner of joy, where I create small‑batch earrings and accessories full of colour, character, and a healthy dose of whimsy. Because everything’s handmade in tiny batches, each piece feels like it has its own personality - a bit quirky, a bit cute, and always ready to brighten someone’s day. I love experimenting with new techniques, themed designs, and bringing cheerful, quirky ideas to life.
My range includes earrings, pins/brooches, wall hangings, trinket dishes, hair clips, necklaces, rings, and keyrings. All creations are handmade, by me, in my Melbourne home. Pieces are made using polymer clay, with some designs incorporating glitter, shimmer, and paint. All pieces are baked, sanded, drilled, and assembled by me. Some designs feature charms and embellishments while others are coated in varnish or UV resin for extra shine. I use 304 stainless steel earring findings (studs, hooks & hoops), and all stud posts are embedded and baked into the clay for extra strength and longevity.
