Faiz Art

Hi, I'm Faiz — a Brisbane-based artist creating whimsical line-and-watercolour illustrations of houses and buildings.

My style blends loose ink linework with loose, expressive watercolour. Think storybook charm rather than strict architectural detail. I'm drawn to the character in ordinary buildings: the wonky roofline, the overgrown garden, the porch light left on. My goal is simple, turning houses and buildings into whimsical little worlds, and helping people keep the places they love close.

Alongside original artwork, I take on personalised house portrait commissions, a lovely way to hold onto a home you love, celebrate a housewarming, or gift someone a piece of their own history. Each piece begins with your photos and a conversation about what makes the place special, then is hand-painted in my signature style.

New pieces and print collections are added as they're finished — follow along on Instagram/Facebook @faizdraws

Thanks for stopping by. I hope something here makes you smile.
