Hi, I’m Evelyn. I create hand-painted floral works that help people express gratitude, hope and encouragement. I work in both watercolour and gouache, and I’m based in Perth, Western Australia.
Flowers are my constant inspiration and I obsess over their shapes, colours, and endless variety. I love exploring the balance between realism and abstraction, vibrancy and softness, looseness and detail.
My journey with watercolour began in high school, where my first paintings were a pear, a bouquet of orchids, and a copy of a laundry box cover. I didn’t paint again for many years, until I picked up brushes again as a mother and slowly developed my skills while raising my children with my husband. Since then, painting has become my quiet place and my joy.
Over time, I’ve noticed that people often connect with my work on a deeper level, feeling something before they can fully put it into words. In my own life, I am in awe of God's creativity and goodness as I behold the beauty of His creation. This led me to begin pairing my paintings with sentiments, carrying each piece from beauty to meaning.

Change of Mind Returns
If you’ve changed your mind about your purchase, please email me at hievelynts@gmail.com within 10 days of receiving your item. My sincere apologies that any item that has been personalised or commissioned will not be eligible for return or exchange.
Once the return is approved, I’ll provide the return address. Return shipping is at your expense, and the item must arrive in its original, undamaged, and resalable condition. I recommend reusing the original packaging if possible, or using secure packaging to ensure it arrives safely.
Damaged on Arrival (DOA)
If your item arrives damaged, I sincerely apologise. Unfortunately, once the item has been handed over to the mailing service such as AusPost, I do not have control over its condition and shipping time.
However, please email me at evelyntangstudio@gmail.com and I will see if together we can work to get some compensation from the courier company to pass on to you.
