Hi, I’m Elaine, the maker behind E Design Studio. From my peaceful studio in Samford Valley, Queensland, I create handmade quilts, fabric gifts and keepsakes designed to be loved not just today, but for years to come.
Each piece begins with carefully chosen fabric and slowly becomes something special: a cosy quilt for bedtime snuggles, a bag to carry little treasures, or a thoughtful gift that holds meaning.
I’ve always believed the things we surround our children, families and loved ones with should feel special not just beautiful, but thoughtful too. Something you reach for, use and enjoy again and again.
That’s why every piece I make is created slowly, with care and attention to detail. I also love working with fabric remnants, giving beautiful fabrics new life and keeping my making process as mindful and sustainable as possible.

My ready-made pieces are available to send straight away, while custom pieces are made slowly and thoughtfully, with time set aside especially for your order. I’ll keep you updated throughout the process, so you know how your piece is coming along.
