As a Queensland local, it may seem slightly unusual to take up knitting warm things as a hobby, but I’ve had a love of handmade crafts since childhood.
I recently discovered Loom knitting, which I find much easier than regular knitting and have been honing my skills making beanies, scarves and blankets.
I usually create with synthetic fibres as they tend to be softer and fluffier than wool and less likely to cause itch or allergy when worn against the skin.
