Leila here, the hands behind DillieMillie bags, a small, Canberra-based business that is all about pieces made with love.
When I was 7, my grandma taught me how to sew, cross stitch, crochet and knit. I instantly became keen on making clothes for myself and others, which I've been doing my whole life.
I'm passionate about creating one-of-a-kind, handmade pieces that empower individuality. I love colour, and, I hope you are a colour enthusiast as well!
I work with all different kinds of material, mostly focusing on natural fibres, including those that deserve a second life. All this magic takes place in my living room, where material meets craft and passion.
The inspiration for my business, DillieMillie comes from the names of my two daughters Dilara - Dillie and Zhamilya - Millie. They always have and always will be my motivation!
