Hello! I’m Katherine, the maker behind Charlotte’s Playroom.

I’m a passionate crocheter and knitter, as well as a stay-at-home, homeschooling mum to three wonderful daughters who inspire so many of the creations you’ll find here.

From my home in Gawler, South Australia, every piece is thoughtfully handcrafted in a smoke-free, pet-free environment. I believe handmade treasures should be beautiful, long-lasting, and made with care from the inside out.

As my business has grown, so has my passion for using natural materials wherever possible. I carefully choose quality natural fibres such as cotton, merino wool and alpaca, and I’m gradually transitioning to natural stuffing materials to create keepsakes that are both beautiful and more environmentally conscious.

I don’t follow a single theme or chase trends. Instead, I create collections that inspire me, from Australian wildlife and woodland friends to heirloom dolls and seasonal treasures. Every piece is lovingly handmade with careful attention to detail and my own signature style.
