Welcome to Bridie’s Beanies and Knits. Nestled in the hills of Gippsland, where the air is crisp and it sometimes even snows, my hand-knit pieces are made for real warmth and everyday comfort. It all began in the cooler weather when my first baby needed a new hat. I knit her one and never put down the knitting needles again. 

I have a particular love for knitting socks — especially in bright, vibrant colourways — alongside beanies, headwarmers, scrunchies, mittens and other cosy accessories. Each piece is made slowly, by hand, using yarn hand-dyed by Australian makers or premium Australian commercial yarns, celebrating beautiful fibres close to home. From bold, cheerful socks to snug winter staples, every stitch is designed to keep you warm and bring a little colour to your day.
