Welcome to Blackberry Jelly - Named after my late Mum. For ten Christmas holidays in a row, mum made enough jelly to last an entire year for 4 kids’ school lunches — a simple tradition filled with care, generosity, and love. That spirit sits at the heart of everything I create.

Hello, I’m Sue, and I live in the beautiful Whitsundays. Sewing has been my lifelong passion, my skill, and my craft. With over 60 years of experience — and as the daughter of a seamstress, pattern maker, and primary school craft teacher — quality making is simply part of who I am.

If you’re looking for a beautifully made item that looks great, feels wonderful to wear, touch, or hold, and is made to last, you’ve found your maker. My work is defined by careful attention to detail and thoughtful construction. From choosing the right fabric and thread to selecting interfacing that creates the perfect softness or structure, and quality hardware such as zips, clips, and rivets — every decision is guided by experience.

I primarily work with linen, canvas, and quilters cotton, sourcing many of my fabrics from interior design and upholstery stores. These higher-quality textiles lend themselves beautifully to the bags, pouches, and craft-lover accessories I create, giving each piece durability, character, and a timeless feel.

Ready to ship in within 3 business days (business days)

Ships out using: Australia Post

Tracking code provided upon shipment (if applicable)

Delivery Times: 7 to 14 days but usually sooner

Custom Orders:

I’m happy to discuss custom orders. If you see something in my shop that you love and would like to make it your own, or if you have an idea for a piece you’d like created, please feel free to contact me to chat it through.

I have a lovely range of fabrics and materials available, and I’ll happily help you choose from these to create a piece that reflects your style while staying true to my making process and quality standards.

All custom work is approached with the same care, attention to detail, and craftsmanship as every Blackberry Jelly piece.

Additional Shipping & Packaging Policy

• Items that are ready to ship will be shipped within 1-3 business days
• The default shipping is via Standard Parcel post with tracking (unless otherwise selected at time of purchase)
• All items are securely packaged
• Tracking details will be provided at the time of shipping. This allows both of us to track your parcel and ensure it gets to you safely. It is the buyers responsibility to provide accurate shipping details at the time of purchase so please make sure these are correct.
• I find packages generally arrive within a week however experience has shown that delays of up to 1 week can occur at busy times of the year.
• Local Pickup - I'm in Mackay Queensland and am happy to arrange for you to collect your item. IMPORTANT: In order to avoid being charged for shipping, please be sure to select the Local Pick-Up option on the Item Listing Page. This option is located underneath the drop down box above the Price.

Refund and Exchange Policy

I want you to be happy with your purchase. Please contact me ASAP if there is a problem. If a return/exchange is agreed upon, items will need to be returned in their original condition within 10 days. Return shipping is the buyers responsibility.
