Hi, I’m Karen - welcome to Bella Mia Crochet.

I love putting smiles on faces of the young and the young-at-heart with my handmade huggable crochet critters, no-fuss plants, sustainable household items, personal accessories and the cutest keyrings.

I rediscovered the wonderful world of crochet when my daily work grind changed in 2020 and the new normal became a more relaxed life around home. I used to crochet when my kids were little but hadn’t picked up a hook in over 25 years.

I joined a Knit & Natter for charity group where I made new friends and built confidence in making beanies, mitts and scarves. Then I discovered the wonderful possibilities with crocheting fun things like toys, keyrings and plants - oh wow!!

Our lounge has now become my ‘Yarn Cave’ and I am loving creating fun goodies to share with family, friends and now with you too! 😃
