Welcome to Anna Walter Ceramics — handmade, small-batch pottery inspired by relaxed Australian coastal living.
Created slowly in my little backyard studio, each piece begins as a simple lump of clay and is shaped, finished, fired and glazed by hand. Most pieces are individually wheel-thrown, giving every mug, bowl, vase and vessel its own subtle character.
My ceramics are influenced by the colours, textures and easygoing beauty of life by the coast — earthy clay, ocean-inspired tones, soft neutrals and beautifully unpredictable glazes. I love experimenting with glaze combinations and embracing the little variations that happen along the way. No two pieces are ever quite the same, and that’s exactly how I like it.
The collection has a relaxed, modern-boho feel: pieces that are beautiful without being precious and made to be used and enjoyed every day.
