- Wednesday Night - Video featured on Youtube, FB at 6pm, Instagram at 7pm to 130k+
- Thursday Night - Email feature including link to blog to 23k+
Being featured on Wednesday Wonders can be a game-changer for your MadeIt store, driving traffic, increasing sales, and boosting brand visibility. But in order to truly reap the benefits of Wednesday Wonders, it's essential to approach this feature strategically.
The following steps includes things to do before, during and after your feature.
Making sure your Madeit Store is ready
This opportunity of being featured means that there will be lots more people visiting your Madeit store so let's make sure your store is looking schmick!
- Do all your products have great photos?
- Do your social links to your correct business social pages?
- Do you have a clear profile image?
- Is your shipping setup correctly?
- Do your products with FREE shipping show up with the tag to show this?
- Is your about section warm and inviting? Share with customers where you are based, what inspires you and how you make your creations.

Make sure your Social Media is ready
Being featured on Wednesday Wonders means that your Madeit store AND your social profiles on Facebook and Instagram will be featured.
- Do your social media profiles link to your MadeIt store?
- Have you posted recently? This is a great time to make it fresh!
- Does your social Media profile reflect your Madeit store? Pin 3 posts to the top of your profile that reflect your creations the best.
Before your feature
Remember that being featured on Wednesday Wonders is by invite only!
You have been chosen out of over 700 Australian Artists to be featured across our social network of 130k+, it's a big deal!! So make sure you share this with your following.
On the day of your Wednesday Wonders Feature
To get the most out of Wednesday Wonders it is important that you are ready to make the most of the event. Here are simple steps to follow;
Make sure you are available
This is a pre-recorded feature but our audience will be watching live as it is released - 6pm AEST on FB and 7pm AEST on Instagram
Accept the Collaborator invite
The collaborator invite means that the content will automatically publish to your social pages. The engagement, shares and comments will be shared on your page and Madeit.
Comment!!
Jump in and say hi and introduce yourself in the comments. Make sure that you respond to any comments on the page as this will drive engagement and will ensure it is shown to more people.
Share & repost the posts
Your audience on FB and Instagram are different and the features are at different times so make sure you share and repost.
- Share the Wednesday Wonder immediately to your socials – in the MadeIt Facebook Page – MadeIt – click on the share button.
- On instagram – share it to your stories / reels / posts – links to your MadeIt store are a must.
- If you have a private facebook profile and a business page, share it to both.
- If you're in a group where you are able to share, share it there too!
- You tube – MadeIt have a you tube channel – are you following it and subscribed ? Copy the you tube video and add it to your MadeIt store; download it. If you have a you tube account, share it there. (You can add the you tube link to your listings also especially if the listings are featured in the Wednesday Wonder)
AFTER YOUR FEATURE ON WEDNESDAY WONDERS
- Be sure to keep an eye on all of your posts on socials
- Have there been comments on the Wednesday Wonder in the MadeIt facebook page – if so, reply to all the comments – acknowledging their compliments – do so from your business FB profile so you can be contacted easily.
- Check everywhere that you have shared the Wednesday Wonder to for comments and reply.
- If others have shared the post, check out who has shared it and like it – people may comment on the posts which are shared to other peoples socials – acknowledge their compliments and reply !
- Log in to your MadeIt store – check to see if you have any messages or orders – just in case emails gone to your spam/junk folders
- Share the content to many facebook groups where you can share videos/photos
SATURDAY – AFTER YOUR FEATURE
- Share the weekly MadeIt ‘meet the artist’ newsletter which MadeIt emails. Take a screenshot of the email (on iphones you can do a screen recording) – it also includes links to your store and to the you tube of the Wednesday Wonders. This 'Meet the Artist' bio is also shared to the MadeIt Facebook Page – be sure to share this, comment on the post and keep your notifications turned on for the post so you can acknowledge. If people have shared your post, check their posts out and comment thanking them for sharing it (and any comments their followers may have made).
SUBSEQUENT DAYS/WEEKS AFTER YOUR FEATURE
- Remember, people log in to their socials at different times/days. There may be many who have missed your posts. Keep on sharing.
- Share it on all the various FB groups – the MadeIt - The Ultimate Artisan Gift Destination FB group; the MadeIt Sellers Private group
