Responsibilities of all buyers using madeit
All registered user on the website must keep their store details up to date. Failure to keep your details up to date may result in your account being treated as an abandoned or false account which may be removed from our system at any time without notice.
The buyer must provide a current and valid address for the purposes of delivery of any purchased item. Any items sent to an outdated or otherwise incorrect address will be the responsibilty of the buyer and not J & L McCauley Family Trust Trading as Made It or the seller of the item.
When clicking on any button that confirms within the madeit system that you have made a purchase of an item/product/service eg but it now, the buyer is entering into an agreement with the seller to purchase and complete payment for that item, product or service.
Failure to complete payment within 72 hours for any item (unless agreed otherwise with the seller of the item) may result in the buyer being banned from madeit and/or the order being cancelled.
When a successful purchase has been made the buyer is responsible for making relevant communications with the seller in order to complete the transaction.
The buyer is responsible for making payment to the seller of the item in using the method specified by the seller for example Paypal.
The buyer is responsible for ensuring their postage address is specified correctly when making a purchase on madeit
We reserve the right to ban any user that we determine to be in breach of any of these conditions or to be using madeit in any unsuitable manner
Responsibilities of all Sellers using madeit
Selling items on madeit is only available to users currently residing within Australian territory.
Items listed by sellers from outside Australia will be deleted without warning without refund.
Items deemed offensive by madeit staff will be removed without warning. Offensive items include (but not limited to) items such as weapons, pornography or any item deemed to be in bad taste.
Items must be independent and unique in nature for example mass produced items will be removed.
Madeit reserves the right to remove any item/s that is deemed to be unsuitable for sale on the madeit website. Items will be removed without warning.
Madeit reserves the right to remove any item/s listed by any seller who is deemed to be unsuitable as a seller on madeit for any reason. Items will be removed without warning.
The seller must be legally entitled to sell the item listed for sale on madeit.
The decision to remove any item is final. Refunds for any item removed from sale by madeit is at the discretion of madeit management but as a general rule refunds will not be offered.
Any user who repeatedly lists items that are not suitable for sale on madeit will be banned.
You must pay your madeit seller accounts in full by the 7th of the month. Invoices are emailed on the 1st of the month. By accepting these terms & conditions on registration you agree to pay your account on time and in full.
The seller must ensure that the item listed for sale is not in breach of the rules listed above.
The seller must ensure that the item listed for sale is available for purchase by a buyer.
The seller must ensure that the item is described correctly and in the specified condition.
When a buyer purchases an item the seller is responsible for ensuring that the buyer has the relevant information to make payment for the item.
When an item is sold the Seller is to ensure that reasonable communication is made with the buyer in order to complete the transaction.
The seller is responsible for shipping the item to the buyer within 72 hours of payment completion unless agreed otherwise with the buyer.
Any seller determined to have received payment for an item but failing to send it will be banned from madeit. Buyers affected by such practices will be advised to take further legal actions in order to reclaim monies
The madeit website is designed to be a positive internet destination for all users. We expect all users of the madeit website to be friendly and polite to all other users. User found to be in breach of this guideline may have their access to the website restricted.
We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time. Please check these terms and conditions regularly as your continued use of this website after any changes to these terms and conditions indicates your agreement to be bound to these terms and conditions of use.
