Ziggy - New Age Hippy Doll
This doll is hand knitted and hand stitched entirely (by Me).
He is handmade, using new wool and polyester fibre, with new polyester fibre-fill for stuffing.
I have embellished him with little pieces of vintage jewellery.
Ziggy's white Kaftan is hand embroidered with swirls of colour on the front, and a hand-embroidered Peace Sign on the back.
His hair and heard are hand-sewn and/or hand-knotted onto his head.
He has a hand-plaited headband tied around his hair.
Ziggy's Kaftan is closed with exquisite little sun-face buttons.
Ziggy is a "New Age" Hippy, not your typical 60's hippy - more your latter day, Bohemian Hippy.
He lives in a Yurt, in a Commune, just south of Byron Bay and makes his living by selling home-grown vegetables and a few "Herbs and Spices" in the local markets.
Ziggy is an Art Doll - NOT A TOY. Please do NOT give to young children, as he will not take rough play.
The eyes are safety eyes but could still pose a choking threat to young children. Also, the jewellery/buttons, etc are not suitable for use as a play toy.
Ziggy would much prefer to sit on a shelf or a comfy chair in your "Good Room", out of harm's way and keep you company throughout the day.
