Wonky Goblin - Kitty Goblinski:
Entirely handmade Art Doll.
Kitty is a charming feline performer. She has a sweet nature and is very proud of her circus abilities. With her long fluffy tail on show, she nimbly climbs high up the Circus Goblinski tent pole, where she then puts on a magnificent performance of tight rope walking and other death-defying acts. As evening falls, and the circus becomes quiet once more, you will find Kitty curled up in her bedroom sleeping (as all cats love to do) and dreaming of fish. She is very happy with her life......
This Wonky Goblin Art Doll is NOT A TOY - please do not give to young children, for fear of choking hazard. Kitty would much prefer to sit beside you, as your companion, in your Good Room as you read a book and sip on a cup of coffee.

Height: 30 cm (sitting - incl top hat)
Width: 24 cm (across chest incl armspan)
Leg Length: 23 cm
Medium:
Body = Rayon/Polyester/faux fur.
Clothing = vintage laces & assorted recycled fabrics
Assorted buttons and beads for embellishment.
Tail = hand-knitted acrylic yarn
Stuffing = new Hobbyfill polyester stuffing.

It was my intention to create a doll that was slightly "not perfect", but still with a quirkiness and cuteness to it. With this in mind, I squirrelled myself away in my Sewing Nook (aka - the Spare Room with a sewing machine), and drafted out a pattern or two, until I was reasonably happy with the shape.
The fun part, as with all of my works, is the embellishments - to me this is when my creatures come to life, and in a manner of speaking, this is the time that they start to tell me who they are and how they want to be dressed.
All of my Goblins are from the Goblinski family tree - some from far back in time, some from nowadays, and a few from the future.
