Arlo, the Hippie Dude is a happy chap, who is at peace with himself and the world. He loves to ponder upon the meaning of the Universe and finds nothing better to do with his time than to lay back and stare up at the clouds. On many occasions he has seen dragons flying overhead - although he is the only one to have ever done so!!
Arlo is also fond of gardening. He specializes in "herbs and spices", which he sells in his local Hippy Commune.
Life for Arlo is very groovy; he is extremely content.
..........It was my intention to create a doll that was slightly "not Perfect", but still with a quirkiness and cuteness to it. With this in mind, I squirrelled myself away in my Sewing Nook (aka - the Spare Room with a Sewing Machine), and drafted out a pattern or two, until I was reasonably happy with the shape.
The fun part, as with all of my works, is the embellishments - to me this is when my creatures come to life, and in a manner of speaking, this is the time that they start to tell me who they are and how they want to be dressed.
All of my Goblins are from the Goblinski Family Tree - some from far back in time, some from nowadays and a few from the future.
