Hand carved in wax and sand-cast entirely by me, this solid sterling silver ring celebrates organic shapes, natural textures and the beauty of imperfection.
The design features a beautiful contrast between smooth, polished silver and the organic textures and little imperfections created during the sand-casting process. The outside of the band has been left beautifully raw and textured, rather than polished away.
Set with a delicate pink & blue sapphires, adding a little flash of colour against the silver.
There's a little meaning behind those imperfections. A gentle reminder that not everything needs to be refined, polished or perfectly put together to be beautiful. Sometimes it's the little quirks and imperfections that make us who we are.
Three lab-grown sapphires are nestled into the smooth surface; two vibrant pink stones paired with a deep, dark blue sapphire. Together they remind me of tiny wild berries growing from a shrub.
The chunky, minimalist form gives the ring a modern geometric feel, while the irregular texture & colourful sapphires bring in that wonderfully organic, handmade character.
A statement in its simplicity and a piece made to be worn every day.
Made slowly & by hand, with all the little imperfections that make handmade jewellery special.
