"Cosmic Birth" is lovingly hand woven with Vine, Hand Spun Yarn, purchased yarn, cotton, crystals & mirror pieces. The first of its kind for me. This piece is a random weaving that I had wanted to create for a while. She came into being quite effortlessly, wild and free. To me, the Cosmos is woven. And in a way, this speaks to that thought. When I stand back and look at her, I see the shape of a pelvis and the central web like weaving as the birth canal birthing the Sun from her centre.

How do you see it?

That is what I love about art. We each can see and feel something different & unique. And, that is exactly how it and we are meant to be.

And so it is.
