White Moss Amethyst Earrings,February Birthstone Earrings

These earrings are one of a kind.

Two smooth white moss amethyst with the very palest violet hue have been wire wrapped by me using sterling silver wire and are presented on hand made sterling silver ear wires.

The colours seen in the gemstone are naturally occurring minerals in the form of rutiles. The white amethyst occurs when the earth reaches extreme temperatures as the stone is forming. Amethyst is a member of the quartz family and the base of this amethyst is white quartz.

The gemstone measures 12mm x 10mm approx

Moss amethyst is given the alternate name "Melody's Stone." It is known as a super 7 stone because it retains the properties of all the stones in the combination of amethyst, smoky quartz, clear quartz, rutile, goethite, lepidocrocite and cacoxenite, even if the piece does not visibly show all 7 minerals.

Each of my items arrive wrapped in a signature draw string pouch ready to give with care instructions.
