This is the second zip wall hanging I have completed. I sourced hundreds of zips from op shops around Newcastle and Lake Macquarie NSW in 2007. I then sorted these zips by colour for my zip wall hangings.
My first zip wall hanging which has sold contained 121 zips using the purple, yellow, orange, pink and red zips.
"90 zips” is my second zip wall hanging which I made in 2022 using all of the blue coloured zips I sourced and is also adorned with ocean-themed charms. My upcycled "90 zips" textile wall hanging features an ocean & sky theme with a blue colour scheme. It is ready to hang includes two (2) dowel timber rods on the reverse (one at the top and one at the bottom) which I've inserted into the four (4) double sided interfaced fabric corner pockets
Size on wall when displayed: 56cm wide x 100 cm high
Size when being shipped: 10cm x 10cm x 56cm long
